The Modern style is a product of the industrial society which originated from the Bauhaus school in 1919. It emphasizes on function and spatial organization, while promoting changes in the traditional superfluous decorations, focussing on clean and simple structures. The modern style also emphasizes on the connection between design and the industrial production, by bringing forward the configuration and characteristics of the materials, for example through texture and colour.
