The famous handbag designer, Tyler Ellis, is very well known for her taste in modern classics, the mix of simplicity, timeless lines and contemporary panache. The style applies not only to her own luxury creations but also to the chic, breezy Brentwood home, French-inflected, classical-meets-Deco architecture and its abundant Italian cypresses, originally designed by William Hefner. The architect and Ellis’s long-time interior designers, the Los Angeles–based AD100 firm The Archers, renovated the place to suit Ellis’ and her husband’s, Benjamin Shriner, taste and Spirit.
