At the Domaine du Muy, a contemporary 25-hectare sculpture park in the South of France, developed by the gallery owner Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand and his son Edward, the interior designer India Mahdavi has renovated a house full of that responds to the works exhibited in the heart of nature. The Mitterrand family wanted to have a contemporary house that would support the occupants’’ presence in the park during the opening months (May-October) and at the same time offer an exhibition space for private collections, a hybrid between home, gallery and office, friendly enough to welcome customers, friends, visitors; sophisticated enough to impress.
