Minami Toronto, owned by Aburi Restaurants Canada, is a 4,600 square feet Japanese restaurant interior that includes a lounge bar, a main dining area and a corner bar. Minami Toronto was recently chosen as of the best-designed restaurant in both North and South America, in addition to best designed restaurant in all the Americas, in the Multiple Category, with more than one location. Designed by local firm, DesignAgency, the team created an interior that easily transitions from day to night, and makes use of every surface to convey a warm and contemporary aesthetic, taking inspiration from Minami's environment in the centre of the entertainment district of Canada, and Aburi's signature dish, its flame-grilled sushi.
